"It is a very interesting movie. It depicts much of the life and values of Buenos Aires's high and middle high class at the end of the 1950s, which were a mix between the acceptance of progressive social changes during and after Peron's era (feminism, female vote, divorce, leftist claims, etc.) and some conservative attitudes (reinforced after the military coupe which ousted Perón). Also, it is in the midway between the "golden era of Argentine classic cinema" of the 40s and 50s (with a strong focus on romantic stories of high class divas) and the "new Argentine cinema ..."
