"Apparently Warner Bros. went all out to promote its ANTHONY ADVERSE which was one of their most lavish historical romances back in 1936. A few details about sets and costumes and some nice glimpses of actresses Olivia de Havilland and Gale Sondergaard talking about their experience of making the film. Both actresses speak with set miniatures of scenes they are in being on display. Miss de Havilland is a picture of radiant beauty, costumed in her role as Angela, and already exhibiting the kind of charm and poise that would make her one of the studio's most bankable stars.
