"Sadly, this version of This wonderful play has - to my knowledge - only ever had one showing, as part of the BBC play of the month series. It is the first of two versions in which Patricia Routledge appeared - albeit in different roles. The casts and of each of those productions are brilliant, with each featuring actors more than worthy of their job descriptions.
