"Andy Devine and Mary Treen offer some mechanically scripted wisecracks to fill out this short produced by the PGA. It's set at one of Bing Crosby's Pro-Am charity events; Andy is the MC, Mary is annoying and several unlikely celebrities appear as themselves. It's basically a sports newsreels. Looking at the people in the tournament is interesting, because of its mix of golf professionals and entertainment performers. Devine and Treen are annoying. Bing Crosby ends the proceedings by singing a song written specially for the movie. It averages out decent but not particularly memo..."
