"One of the Best Rishi Kapoor films indeed. I like the pair of Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor ji) and Farah. That's why I watched this film. I wasn't disappointed with the film. It was really good. Cute scenes between Rishi Ji and Farah were a treat to watch, in every film they did together. I have seen Woh Kaun Thi (and it's a must watch film, a classic), the film that inspired this one, but it's not a remake. Some things were similar, and some were different. Rishi Kapoor is one of my favorite legends of Indian cinema. It would've been little more enjoyable if the villain..."

Rishi Kapoor replaced Vinod Khanna in this movie as Vinod Khanna had just came from America and his friend Raj Khosla was one of the first filmmaker to sign him . Vinod even shot for few days for Naqab but he could not concentrate on the film as his dates. It was then Vinod Khanna told Raj Khosla to take someone else. Rishi Kapoor then signed for the film.
