"All three of these films deal with alienation from a large faceless society in some fashion. Whether its mistaking the motives of a neighbor through ignorance or living on the edge of oblivion in reaction to an uncaring world, all of these women seem to suffer from a lack of emotional contact to others. I think these films are a fascinating look at a place most westerners have never seen and know little about (at least here in America). These film-makers are relatively new but hopefully we will see a lot more of the in the future...."
