One of the stories being told in the media back in 1981 was that Amjad Khan had invited his good friend Prakash Mehra for a trial preview of the movie Paanch Qaidi. In the film where is a song titled "Aha A Humne Suna Hai Aapne Loota" by Shobha Gurtu . The song had Mahendra Sandhu and Amjad Khan dressed up as women and dance on a mujra song. Prakash Mehra loved the idea and decided to lift it for his film Laawaris. This was how Amitabh Bachchan dressing as a woman in Mere Aagane Mein was created. When the producer's of Paanch Qaidi realized what happen they were not surprised. Prakash Mehra was always known for lifting idea's and making them his own.
