"Poirot and Captain Hastings are supposed to attend a charity masquerade party. The theme is 'famous people'...so the conceited Poirot goes as himself! And, just as you would expect, someone at this party is killed...found dead with a case knife plunged into his chest! And, to confuse things, one of the dead man's lady friends is found dead the next day from an overdose of cocaine*. The style of this episode is very much like a 1930s B-mystery movie from the States. This is NOT a complaint...more an observation. This is especially true at the end, when Poirot brings back all the..."
