On an episode of "Legends of Wrestling", Pat Patterson revealed that moments before Jerry "The King" Lawler was supposed to go to the ring, he went to grab his trademark crown, only to discover that someone had defecated in it, forcing Lawler to go the ring without it. The consensus is that several wrestlers, possibly including The Undertaker and Steve Keirn (Skinner), were allegedly involved in defecating in Lawler's crown backstage. The prank was considered a form of payback from some wrestlers who felt they had been mistreated or given poor pay-offs while working for Lawler's USWA promotion in Memphis.
