Sometime during the shooting, it was decided to complete the project as an independent entity and titled SANGRE SONGES for a European release. Because of a screw up by Femme Fatales editor Bill George, the US version was known as VALERIE, rather than BLOOD DREAMS, as was the intention of the Producer/Director Jay Lind.
