"The Inventors is a fun comedy short from 1934. It's mostly notable for being one of the last screen appearances of actress Olive Borden. The story begins when comedians Stoopnagle and Budd (Wilbur Budd Hulick and Frederick Chase Taylor) go to all girls college to give a lecture. There they meet a lovely young teacher Miss Brown (Olive Borden) and a group of stuffy old professors. Their lecture which is full of corny jokes is a big hit with the female students but not with the old professors.
