"Cinevative Productions did a great debut in the field of short films with PICKETS. In only 23 minutes, they managed to built up three credible characters in a story that might have very well happened sometime during the Civil War. All three actors gave good performances and the sound and picture editing created a fitting atmospheres to the individual scenes. On a sidenote, considering that the project was shot on DV only, it almost looks like movie quality - gives you an idea how much time they must have spent on lighting and post...."
