"Despite the fact that I couldn't quite take Steve Coogan seriously , which actually works sometimes, 24 Hours Party People, does deliver a great testament to a critical period of rock and roll history. Located in space and time at the outset, the film grafts on its credentials by starting with a sex Pistols gig in Manchester. Moves in fast and furious pace into the 1990's and lunacy that surrounded the posthumous and the ludicrous antics of Manchester rawk and roll.
