"According to the DVD, "Accidentally Preserved", "The Misfit" was originally a two-reel comedy but one real has not survived. However, in watching the film, you wouldn't suspect it's only half....and works just fine on its own. The film can be divided into halves. The first half, by far the funniest, involves Clyde being used by his shrewish wife to carry packages and then do all the housework. The second half consists of Clyde joining the Marines in order for some peace and quiet. However, he turns out to be a complete misfit. The first half had some really nice..."
