It is set in a rural town in Maine and has two first rate characters, "Ernie," his mother's pride and joy, and "Ma" Smith who has brought him up to be obedient before all things. Harry T. Morey plays "Ernie," and we were astonished as well as delighted at the way he convinced us that we were looking at a boy of about seventeen.
