Sensationalistic Garbage
"Chick tries way too hard with the whole "turn or burn" method to be taken seriously. I suppose the religious/spiritual types may buy into this but an Atheist like me just gets amused from it. The sound effects were OK, the paintings are incredible, but the message is tired, boring, and just unrealistic unless you are brainwashed like most Christians I know. I would rather watch the Passion (which I didn't, but I have seen enough clips to know it's just as bad) than this piece of crap again. Though I must admit Fred Carter can definitely paint. Too bad his talents are waste..."
💡 Did You Know?
The use of still photographs in The Civil War (1990) inspired Jack Chick's use of only oil paintings (360) for this film.
