"This event was shot by a contracted crew in NZ. The film is still in the NZ National film archives and has NOT been released to the public as of this writing (Feb 05/2006) It has yet to be finished. Due to lack of funding for project completion, the film footage has been archived until the time is right to finish it and let the public know of its memorable footage. Why I know about this project....it's because I 'own' the footage and was the principal that contracted Robert Hyatt to come to NZ and film it. We paid his expenses. Hyatt', was the first and to this day only foreigner (American) to be allowed onto the sacred Moari, the royal area for only the privileged, with special permission by the Maori Queen for the purpose of filming the private meetings of the visiting Polynesian Kings and Queens.
