This is one of several short films I have seen where I noticed that the IMDb score wasn&apos;t even close to the arithmetic mean. In other words, the TRUE mean for this film is not 3.2 (as it&apos;s currently listed) but about 5.4. How IMDb comes up with these weighted means is uncertain, but too many times I&apos;ve seen good films (like this one) with scores that seem to indicate they are bad films.

AWKWARD is a very simple story that is told with no dialog. Instead of the usual story, it&apos;s told using computer-generated characters that look vaguely human--and each is one of the three primary colors. The film shows a long sequence of events that leads them all to feel a bit stupid--but I won&apos;t elaborate any further because it would spoil the film. Suffice to say that the twist is excellent and the production values very good. Give it a try--at less than 3 minutes, what have you got to lose?!
