"Although there are some interesting historic film clips and some interesting facts --- who knew that Belleville Ontario was once Hollywood North? --- this is a rather plodding and unimaginative documentary. It seems to go on forever even though the running time is only 111 minutes. The alphabetical format is a sophomoric gimmick. One also gets the feeling that the producer had just acquired a home video editing suite and was anxious to try out every effect.
