"Isn't that what 'cocotte' means? Anyway, this is another of the magic show movies that Melies had been doing since 1896, and Segundo de Chomon had been doing since 1903. I will dispute the other reviewer who calls de Chomon a mere copier of Melies. While his remit from Pathe may have been to take Melies' market by doing the same sort of magic shows, he did them differently.
