"I remember seeing Howie Mandel for the first time on this TV show that aired in the early 80's (I could not tell you what network). He played a shoe salesman in one sketch wearing a rubber glove on his head and a giant glove shaped bag on his side (is that from his act?) at any rate, it worked for me and, trust me, I am not exactly a Howie Mandel fan.
