"This film was filmed with the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics in mind. The story finds a local civic group trying to find rooms for various athletes with families in the area. Mr. Smith accidentally agrees to take one. I say accidentally because his wife is an old battleaxe and he's afraid to bring anyone home to her and her stuff society friends.
