"This little short is a homage to silent films and I appreciate this since I am a huge fan of the genre. However, I was quite mystified at how poorly the film translates to the 21st century--mostly due to the poor style of this film. That's because although I was very familiar with many of the stars shown in silent clips, many of them were completely unknown to me and I felt like I was looking at a stranger's home movies or a family album! This is pretty bad since I have probably reviewed more silents on IMDb than anyone--so I SHOULD have been a lot less baffled if they'..."
