"From the opening shot of Nelson's statue in Trafalgar Square, which then pans down to Gene Bradley's black chauffeur driven Rolls Royce which is going along the busy streets of London, and he is being accompanied with his dippy, glitzy blond girlfriend sets the tone for this episode of THE ADVENTURER. The plot of this episode is unusual, because it is centred about a Chinese Ming vase, which Alfred Hitchcock would called the McGuffin.
