"If this was made today, it would be describe as being woke. Right wing politicians would blame Sir Lancelot for the rise in male youth crime as they would have no suitable role models. While the men are away, a tribe of women run the village and take care of the farming. This includes defending their land and they are very good at it. The women are repelling skirmishes from neighbouring King Athelred. He is hoping that the women break a peace treaty so he can attack them and take their lands.
