"The waitresses walk off the job after Mel tries making them work til midnight on Xmas Eve. He then is haunted by the ghost of his old business partner, who tells Mel what fate awaits him for his Scrooge-like ways. This is the worst of the four ALICE Xmas episodes. Jack Gilford is completely wasted as the ghost of Mel's old idol Jake Farley. All he does is basically tell Mel he is doomed unless he changes his ways.
