"The reality about most shows of the 20th century - and also today - is they develop a few really good episodes with intriguing stories, then add a lot of cookie cutter filler episodes in the mix to complete a season. This would be one of the latter. The premise had potential, but that dissolved quickly when the promise of that premise fell apart. Everything about this quickly forgettable story felt rushed. The dialogue was lazily written, the friendship/budding relationship was forced and awkward, and best of all we have a French foreign exchange student who apparently had lived in a cave up ..."
