"Mr Grace has become an octogenarian, so the staff put on a special treat for him. It's another classic episode, and it's nice to see Young Mr Grace put centre stage for a change, the trip down memory lane is very funny, and we get an insight into how Grace Brothers started. We learn who Rachel Yiddle is, and we get that wonderful scene where John Inman drags up to play Mother, it's a hilarious scene. I'd forgotten just how good this fifth series was. 9/10..."

Throughout the episode they make mention of "that show where they show your life starting in short pants and ending shaking hands with Danny LaRue " and each person saying "I saw that I didn't like it" . This is a joke in reference to John Inman (who plays Mr. Humphries) recently being the subject of an installment of This Is Your Life (1955) and his cast mates making an appearance.
