💡 Did You Know?
Much of this episode is an homage to DC Comics's competitor, Marvel Comics. This includes the titular heroes (a reference to the Fantastic Four in origin story, appearance, and the team's sigil) as well as a shout-out to an early Spider-Man story in the scene where Terry lifts a heavy piece of machinery off himself. The episode is also chock-full of complex equipment that would have felt at home in Marvel regular Jack Kirby's illustrations.
