"David Cassidy guest stars in this Bonanza story about an abused kid who refuses to go to school and is one disciplinary problem for schoolmaster Les Tremayne. When Cassidy wishes him dead, Tremayne is found dead and Cassidy is looked on with suspicion. No separate laws for juveniles then, Cassidy faces an adult hanging if convicted. Lorne Greene takes an interest in both the school and Cassidy. Hoss is dispatched to 'learn' those kids some grammar. In real life Dan Blocker did teach school at some point. Mercedes McCambridge is in this episode as a crusader for the rights of juveni..."
