⭐ Featured Review

Another ordinary episode partially redeemed by good writing and acting
by dgplatt-601212024-06-27
6/10

"This yet another episode with two blah plots that almost add up to a good episode. The titular one is probably the weaker of the two. Social clubs with goofy hats have been a staple of sitcoms ever since Ralph and Ed joined the Raccoon Lodge. Poor Cliffie managed to pick a particularly dull one to join. The second plot is only marginally better - part of Diane's quest to make Sam jealous. Lance Apollinaire really does seem too good to be true, and Sam's petty attempts to belittle him (literally) are mildly amusing. This is one of those episodes where there's nothing particularl..."

💡 Did You Know?

Sam asks Lance how tall he is and he says 6' 2 1/2". Sam laughs and makes fun of him because he claims to be 6' 3", and makes jabs at him for the rest of the episode about the 1/2" difference. In actuality, Ted Danson is 6' 2 1/2", and J. Eddie Peck (Lance) is 6' 3".
