"This Cimarron Strip episode has Stuart Whitman taking young Eddie Hodges to another town for a trial and a probable hanging. Only Donnelly ?Rhodes, Hodges's older and tougher outlaw brother waylays Whitman in an attempt to rescue Hodges. In the process Hodges is seriously wounded and Rhodes and his partner Timothy Carey look for shelter and possible medical help. They also steal Whitman's badge and paperwork. As if Whitman hasn't enough troubles a town he passed through thinks he's Rhodes and he has no ID to say otherwise. And bounty hunter Jack Elam wants to take Whitman ..."
