💡 Did You Know?
Two mentions of Francis Ford Coppola implied that Cybill had never worked with the director. In fact, Cybill Shepherd starred in "Daisy Miller" (1974), the third and final movie from The Directors Company, a production group featuring Coppola, Peter Bogdanovich, and William Friedkin. At the time, Bogdanovich was dating Shepherd and was optimistic about the film. Unfortunately, the film was a box-office failure and the trio broke up.
