"Captain Mainwaring is lucky to receive a Rolls Royce from the wealthy Lady Maltby, keen to do her bit for the war effort, the fact that she knew Wilson incredibly well helped. The Platoon are offered Guard of Honour, to receive a French General and give a speech. This is a very funny episode, absolutely outrageous, and great to see that Mainwaring has made a massive error, there's a very funny scene where Mainwaring realises the mistake, the best one coming at the end with the kisses. Funny as always to see Wilson get the upper hand over Mainwaring. Mavis Pugh was great as Lady Maltby, ..."
