"Following directly on from Castrovalva, Four to Doomsday begins pretty well, it's nicely produced, well written, and is pure 1980's sci fi. I like the three aliens, particularly Monarch, and the odd spaceship, which I imagine would have looked very modern when it first went out. It has a real sense of mystery, and the obscure about it, lots of questions are asked, what's Monarch's purpose, and who are the historical figures? Some of the props are a bit cheap looking, and and you could perhaps argue it isn't dynamic, but it's a good start. 7/10..."
