"Gage and DeSoto see an ad in the paper looking for an old fire engine for $25000.00 by a man named George S. Green. The first scene shows a drill with all the firemen testing out a toxic chemical. Dr. Morton examines a little boy with a sore throat, his mother (Kim Hamilton) just wants an antibiotic. Brackett and Early find it may be polio when the boy is brought back with leg problems. A man comes to the fire house and has a heart attack. Chet tells Gage and DeSoto that the ad in the paper is a gag, though a real man (Bernard Fox) shows up but the guys don't believe him. Best part is ..."

The helicopter used in this episode, A USCG HH-52A Sea Guard, Tail number 1442, crashed into the sea 400 miles off the coast of Acapulco Mexico on Jan 10, 1987. The cause a failure of a Stator Vane Assembly in the engine. The pilot was able to successfully auto-gyrate into the sea. All 4 crew members escaped. The helicopter was recovered 4 days later but written off due to salt water damage.
