""The Collar" is one of the more overtly religious shows of the 1950s. This is NOT any sort of complaint...just an observation. It is quite watchable even though, at times, it seems a bit too incredible. The show starts just before the Cavalry is going to attack and wipe out a group of Blackfoot Indians during the time of the old west. The officer in charge (Barton MacLane) isn't particularly sympathetic to the natives and plans on killing them all. However, when a priest (Niven) approaches the camp, the planned massacre is put on hold...for a bit. It seems that the priest was s..."
