"Anyone who knows about the Fresh Prince knows that the first Aunt Viv was on her way out. If you watch Season 3, you can see Viv's role slowly diminish over the season presumably due to contract disputes. So what do they do in her last appearance on the show? Don't bring her out right until the very end and have her renew her "vows" to her TV husband and then two episodes later, bring in a new aunt Viv. This must have been a brutal moment for everyone involved, but it was a particularly cruel and sinister joke played by the writers on Janet. Look at that last scene with he..."
