"Gomer reminded me (a bit) of Jethro on the BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, played to be the country bumpkin, easy pickens, EZ to fool with a hard luck story. Only difference is Gomer didn't have a multi millionaire uncle who could bail him out. Bill idelson, who also worked as an actor, wrote a sharp little con story featuring veteran actor Douglas Fowley, playing a way desperate, at the end of his rope senior called C. B. Sinclair. C. B. Crosses paths with nice guy Gomer and confesses he hasn't got much to live for and wants to end it all. Goodbye cruel world! All this may remind you of somet..."
