"Who killed Esra Carr? A talented, but aloof Ghost writer who is found dead, looking out of a window at his remote house, Ghost Forge. This is another fine episode, it's a good story, it's cleverly crafted, and features some great characters. Jim Bowen is funny without needing to say a word, Duggie Dawson was a funny character. Anything is worth watching that has the wonderful Lysette Anthony, she doesn't disappoint as the annoying Mimi. It's clever, one of those mysteries where so much more is happening than appears on the surface. You think you're getting a straight..."

Towards the end, Adam is wearing a "shirt" featuring Japanese writing whilst talking to Duggie Dawson. Duggie tells Adam that the writing reads "I am full of sh*t". The symbols on the shirt are Japanese but they are mirrored. It translates as "lie" (or "exaggerate").
