The better for smuggling
by bkoganbing2016-12-16
5/10

"This particular Laredo episode gives us the opportunity to see Robert Wolders dressing as conservatively as he ever did in the series. For that you should view this. Border town boss Alfred Ryder wants a wide open and lawless town, the better for his smuggling enterprises. So when former outlaw Wesley Lau comes to town to build a church, he exposes him and runs him out of town. But Lau has a friend in Philip Carey and Captain Parmalee sends Wolders and Peter Brown into town disguised as both evangelical and deacon to assist Lau while he's out of town. Of course the Rangers do the job. ..."
