"Jesse Gil (Darren McGavin) is a man who says he's 'just a poor country farmer' but the truth is far from it. He's a powerful and popular guy and what he says goes in his county. Heck, even the sheriff (Gary Collins) is bought and paid for by Gil. When reporter Jeff Dillon (Anthony Franciosa) hears about the man and his power, he decides it could make for an interesting story. Soon, Dillon is trying to knock Gil down a few pegs...especially since Gil might be involved in a few murders! I liked this episode of "The Name of the Game"....but also felt the finale was ..."
