"The Ward is being prepared for a new patient, Figgis is disgruntled to learn that it's Sir Julian Briggs, a member of The Conservative Party. Briggs has chosen to have his operation on The NHS, and wants to share with regular people. I never really thought the third series was the best run, but it had some good episodes, this I think is one of the better ones. Amusing to watch Thorpe trying to suck up to his well known patient, then turning when he doesn't get what he wants, it's clear that all he wants is to get him to sign his petition.
