Visiting day doesn&apos;t go to plan.

Norman&apos;s overbearing mother pays him a visit, she&apos;s disgusted to see that her poorly son is being visited by Nurse Jenny, she believes her attentions will damage her son&apos;s delicate disposition. Archie still believes he has a chance with Norman&apos;s beau.

I think the show got better and funnier as it went on, it&apos;s developed so well, the laughs have come thicker and faster, it&apos;s another funny installment from series two.

We learn exactly why Norman is the way he is, a stressed out hypochondriac, who&apos;s afraid of his own shadow.

We also get a bit of a glimpse into the private life of Figgis, he&apos;s a little more devious than we gave him credit for, he provides the main laugh at the end.

Margaret Courtenay is a scream as Norman&apos;s diabolical mother, she&apos;s an absolute monster, good to see him standing up to her.

Norman's overbearing, hypochondriac mother comes to visit and he is initially scared to tell her he is romancing nurse Jenny. Norman's cowardice gives Glover the opportunity to try and make a move but Figgis puts him off with lies about Jenny and the young couple eventually stand up to Mrs Binns. Figgis meanwhile shares a passionate embrace with a visitor who is not his wife - and is also unaware that he has one. Thanks to a misplaced gesture by Norman, though, she will shortly come face to face with her.
