"Mike is seen conducting water lab tests on the ability for a human to increase their lung capacity. This was aired in 1958. Skipping over to 2011(?) ... I knew a guy that was a Navy SEAL/UDT. He was involved in special Navy tests on how much a human can endure in water. They did things to him that are no longer authorized, but the data is there. Such as coming to the surface from 200ft, on one mouthful of air. The idea being that, if done slowly, the lungs would expand with air, adjust, then the diver would slowly get to the surface in stages. The training this took must have been incredibly ..."
