"The group believes that they are sliding into the home-world, but instead, land in a prison designed to keep anyone from reaching it. The facility is vast and is home to humans and kromaggs, although their numbers are dwindling. Quinn and Colin are separated from Maggie after Rembrandt was taken prisoner by the Kromaggs. This appears to be an impossible situation for the group. I really enjoyed this episode. It was unexpected and entertaining, especially when we find out the truth about the Kromagg leader's son and Rembrandt's subconscious mission. This is one of the better episodes ..."

The Slidecage set was previously used as the HQ for the Time Enforcement Commission on the then recently cancelled ABC show "Timecop". The main corridor the Sliders used throughout the episode was the track for the sled the Timecops used to travel into the past.
