"Dr. Gordon is NOT a happy man. His invalid wife is a horrible, argumentative person and taking care of her is like having a constant migraine. One evening, the Doctor pours drinks for friends....and somehow poison got into the wife's drink. She dies and he is now on trial for his life. All this takes place in the first third of the show.
