"The best of the series yet due to its oddball atmosphere and characters. Although the identity of the mystery assailant is fairly obvious from early on, it's still intriguing to try and unravel their motivations and methods. Some red herrings are thrown in that conjure a bizarre and eerie world with chameleons, a drowned husband return from the dead and other pond-dwelling spirits/demons alluded to. Add to this a sexual undercurrent with some serious philandering going on in a stately home, hints of homosexuality, mesmerism and a truly moving and distressing performance from veteran actor..."
