"While in Texas returning to Shiloh The Virginian is shot and wounded by a rustler. He gets rescued by the local Ponderosa owner Peter Mark Richman and stays at his place while healing. James Drury gets a lot of care from Richman's wife Marian McCargo and bonds with young Stefan Arngrim, Richman's son. Richman is a hard and tough man, but his wife has never given up on him showing a tender side. When Arngrim gets kidnapped however and held for ransom eventually the gamut of Richman's character is shown. Nicely done story, Peter Mark Richman dominates the story...."
