"I really didn't see this one coming! After the much slower Hong Kong stories to this! Drama, tension, all the RN hardware in action. Great performances from all concerned. Suddenly no mess humour; just snap to the task. Professional, deadly serious. It changes the whole dynamics of series 4 to this point. This would work as a standalone - if you don't know what the series is about, it's a fine taster for it all.
